Building Communities Through Learning
Our College, city and region have grown rapidly, in population as well as in opportunities that provide a wonderful quality of life.
As part of the progress, we are committed to growth in facilities and programs to meet the current and future needs of Red Deer and central Alberta. RDC reflects diversity in its comprehensive programs, facilities and supports in order to meet those needs.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, RDC students benefitted from $609,000 in scholarships in 2011. The Donald School of Business opened its doors in downtown Red Deer in September 2011. And if that wasn't already enough to get excited about, the RDC Arts Centre is celebrating its 25th anniversary as one of Canada's finest performance venues!
For all of our successes, we know we need a competitive advantage to stay in a leadership position. We must grow along with our communities – to help people expand their credentials, retrain for a changing economy, explore new ideas and design new ways of working and living.
RDC is looking forward. As we develop our long-term sustainability, RDC continues to create opportunities and renew our commitment to learners, employers and communities. We invite you to join us.
