About Us

The Early Learning and Child Care program at RDC offers a full time program on-campus in Red Deer. Students may take these on-campus courses part time as well. On-campus courses are scheduled in fall and winter terms.

In addition, our distance delivery program is designed to meet the needs of part time learners, or add flexibility in scheduling for full time students. We offer a distance delivery program that allows students to finish a complete ELCC certificate by attending monthly Saturday seminars in Red Deer, supported by print and online distance delivery. These courses run in fall, winter and spring terms. As well, our outreach program offers all ELCC diploma (second year) courses online. Students access our diploma courses through eCampus Alberta.

ELCC students can blend courses from distance and day time courses. This helps students to complete their studies at their own pace, at times that are convenient.

New students can enter the on-campus program for either the fall or winter terms. The distance program enrolls new students for fall, winter, and spring terms.
