On display, are a few pages from a Simmons Hardware catalogue, circa 1890's. They were printed from wood-engraved plates, and feature exceptional detail.

7 pages were collected by Locksmith Apprentice Jim Walker, and donated to the Locksmith Program.

The model above features the new Yale Paracentric key. Although not visible in these scans, the heads of the keys are stamped with Yale Paracentric 50,000. Along the side of the key's blade, reads "Pat'd Nov.2 1891 July 28, Aug 11, 1891".

The new "Yale Paracentric locks" were certainly pricey, too. By comparison, the bottom lock in the page at right is priced at $22.00 per dozen sets. The Yale Paracentric locks above were priced at $16.00 and $19.00 each.
