Black Knight Ticketing Agency to sell tickets for RDC Arts Centre

Red Deer, August 26, 2011 – Backing its commitment to provide top-notch service and value to our community supporters of the arts, RDC is proud to announce that Red Deer’s own Black Knight Ticket Centre will assume responsibility for ticketing at Arts Centre events effective September 1, 2011.

Selected through RDC’s bidding process, Black Knight will serve Arts Centre patrons via web, telephone, and in person sales. The ticket office at the Black Knight Inn will be open daily and the Arts Centre ticket booth will open an hour before each performance.

“We are confident that Black Knight will provide patrons of the arts with friendly and efficient service that will properly support the fine performances we host in the Arts Centre,” says Torben Andersen, Dean of Arts at RDC.

“We are thrilled to join with RDC because we know they host many fabulous performances throughout the year,” shares Ken Mandrusiak, of Black Knight Ticket Centre.

RDC is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Arts Centre. First opened in 1986, this state-of-the-art community performing arts centre has housed the training of over 40,000 actors, technicians, musicians, filmmakers, and dancers that contribute to the vibrant arts and cultural scene of Alberta. 25 years has culminated in approximately one million audience members who have been entertained, taught and delighted during more than 5,000 performances and events.
