Yes, but the Application was denied.

• If you decide to appeal the decision, please proceed to Step 1 of the Appeal Process.

 

Yes, but the Research Ethics Board has asked for resubmission with changes.

• Make the appropriate changes or go to Step 1 of the Appeal Process.

 

• Resubmit the Application to the two persons chosen to review your Application, highlighting the completed changes. Once changes have been approved, a certificate will be granted.

 

• Go back to step 5 if necessary.

 

Yes, the Application was approved without modification, and I have received a Certificate of Ethical Approval.

• A Certification of Ethical Acceptability will be issued. Retain a copy of your accepted Application and Certificate. (Copies will also be kept with the REB.) Please note that the approval is only given for a three year period.

 

• Proceed with the research. Further contact with the Research Ethics Board is not required unless you have questions.
