eCampusAlberta

eCampusAlberta is a consortium of several Alberta colleges and technical institutes that has been established to facilitate increased access to high quality online learning opportunities.

The advantage of this model is that it enables students to take courses offered by institutions located far from their home, but access the services offered by an institution that is close to where they live.

RDC currently offers the following programs through eCampusAlberta:

  • Educational Assistant Certificate
  • Early Learning & Child Care Diploma
  • Pharmacy Technician Certificate
  • Virtual Assistant Certificate

How to Apply for an eCampus Program

Learners apply to the institution offering the program to become admitted. Once all courses have been completed, the institution offering the program will issue your parchment. You may be taking courses through that institution only, or you may be taking courses through several institutions towards your credential, depending upon the collaboration.

If you would like to take one or two courses for interest, or to transfer into another program, you may need to apply to the institution as an Unclassified or Undeclared student prior to registering for the course(s) offered by that institution.  Check with the institution offering the program or course for more information.

How to register for an eCampus course
