 A Message From Our Chair:  
 

On behalf of the staff and faculty, I would like to welcome you to the Bachelor of Education Program at Red Deer College.
Our department emphasizes excellence in educational practice.
Our faculty are trained teachers who have classroom experience and who offer a wide range of educational backgrounds and disciplines. In addition, many of our instructors are currently employed in classrooms in the public school systems in and around Red Deer. The courses and programs our department offers are innovative, creative, dynamic and prepare our students to excel and be active leaders in the classroom and schools they will find themselves in. If you are a person who is prepared to commit yourself to academic excellence in your studies and in your teaching, I encourage you to consider joining us here at Red Deer College. After all, "when you get here you understand"!
