Distance Learning
The Educational Assistant Distance Learning Program uses multiple technologies to assist students.
We are currently using Blackboard and Blackboard Collaborate(web based video/audio) to provide instruction. All distance learning students registered in the EA program make e-mail, telephone, and chat room contact with faculty, classmates and help resources.
The majority of our students come from Western Canada. However, we have students from as far away as the East Coast!
Requirements for Distance Learning Students:
Access to a computer (with a speaker and mic)
- Internet access
- E-mail access
If a course has an live audio component it is approximately two hours long every second week.
