Information Technology Programs
Study Smart
From smart phones to gaming systems to business applications and Web 2.0 - technology enables people. All aspects of our daily lives involve computer technology. Professionals in the Information Technology (IT) field create and support these systems.
The IT program at Red Deer College prepares graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully engage in an exciting, challenging, and well-compensated IT career. The provincial government is forecasting more new jobs in IT than construction in the next year. From network management to mobile devices to web applications and databases, our applied learning gives you job-ready skills when you graduate.
We offer a two year program that can be taken on a full or part-time basis.
All students in this program are required to have a laptop. Check out the laptop specifications.
