Getting Started
Apply now for the Computer Information Systems Diploma if you meet the following requirements:
A) Academic Requirements
1. High School Diploma with:
- a minimum mark of 50% in ELA 30-1 and Mathematics 30 (Pure)
OR
- a minimum mark of 50% in ELA 30-1 and 65% in Mathematics 30 (Applied) and 50% in one of the following: Chemistry 30, Physics 30, Science 30
OR
2. Mature Student (You must be 19 years of age or older and out of high school at least one full year) with:
- a minimum mark of 50% in Mathematics 30 (Pure)
OR
- a minimum mark of 65% in Mathematics 30 (Applied) and 50% in one of the following: Chemistry 30, Physics 30, Science 30
B) Other Requirements
All Computer Information Systems Diploma students must have a laptop computer that is using Microsoft Windows as the operating system. (Click here for laptop specifications)
Note: If you do not have the above requirements, you may be able to take courses in the Computer Information Systems Diploma program, while you are upgrading. Please contact the Chair of the Information Technology Programs.
