The Kinesiology & Sport Studies program at RDC has a strong history of excellence. Through the leadership of the knowledgeable and experienced staff, the program strives to provide outstanding theoretical and practical course content and experiences. Students take a wide range of courses including: anatomy, athletic therapy, biomechanics, coaching, dance, fitness and wellness, growth and development, leadership and instruction, physiology, sports administration, sport performance. They also receive expert instruction in certification based activity courses.

The program offers a variety of 2-year Diploma programs which also lead to a 4-year university Bachelor of Physical Education or Kinesiology Degree. Transfer to Alberta universities is well established with transfer to out-of-province universities also possible. The program offers 2-year diploma specialization.
