Guided Nursing Practice Program

 Guided Nursing Practice Program

This program provides opportunity for:

• Lab practice and skill review
• Guidance during theory review
• 4 weeks preceptored clinical practice
• An option to extend practice if needed

Specialty practice education is not provided in this program, as practice opportunities take place in general nursing areas, eg. Medicine, surgery.

Admission criteria includes:

• Registered Nurse in Alberta - proof of licensure required
• Valid CPR certification at Basic Rescuer Level C
• Current immunization
