Unique to Canadian film schools, the MPA program is an integrated part of the College's Theatre Studies Department, sharing access to full costuming, set construction, props, special effects and lighting and sound facilities. Students have access to the Arts Centre complex, which includes a 576-seat proscenium theatre with a seven story fly tower, a 2500 square-foot studio theatre/ sound stage, digital recording and mixing studio, fully equipped shops, and design and rehearsal facilities.

The MPA program has its own dedicated sound stage with green screen, professional 24p widescreen camera packages, ARRI lighting, extensive grip equipment including dolly, track and camera jib, and dedicated private Final Cut ProHD editing suites. 

The MPA program has received tremendous support from industry leaders, including the Alberta Film Commission, the Alberta Motion Picture Industries Association, the National Film Board of Canada, Global Television Network, CBC, ACTRA, IATSE, joe:Media Group, Minds Eye Pictures, Image Works Alberta Inc., Landmark Cinemas, Crescent Entertainment Ltd., White Iron Inc., Catalyst Distribution Inc., and many others.
