Contemporary Focus

Want to learn jazz, blues, country, reggae, rock, alternative?  You will gain experience through classes, private lessons, and by participating in such performing groups as Contemporary Styles, Jazz Ensemble (Big Band), and Jazz Combo.  Other optional courses such as Studio Recording provide hands-on training utilizing the latest technology. 

This focus is especially suited for students who wish to pursue careers in the music industry as performers, song writers, retailers, administrators, promoters, etc.  Our specialized courses in Music Business are an integral aspect of this focus.
