Music Society
All music students are members of the RDC Music Students Society. Membership benefits include:
- discounts at local merchants
- discounts for music society events
- representation through the society executives to Music Department
- representation to the Student's Association

Music Society Events/Pub Shows
Each year the Music Society hosts 3 Pub Shows that showcase the wares of the students of the music program. Music Society members produce the show from start to finish.
CAT Fund
The Cultural Activities Trust Fund (CAT) is a special fund which subsidizes the cost of cultural activities for RDC students and faculty. In the past, the CAT fund has helped provide outstanding drama, dynamic speakers on current affairs, science and philosophy, and inspired musical performances. Student groups are encouraged to make use of this fund. To find out more about CAT fund and how to apply for a subsidy, contact the Students Association at RDC.
Performing Arts Student Lounge
Affectionately deemed the 'FishBowl', for its large windows overlooking the outside courtyards, this student study area includes tables & chairs and lounges for Performing Arts students. The ever-active advocates of the Theatre & Music Society have also purchased a microwave and coffee maker made available for student use. The area supports wireless internet technology and provides direct access to the rest of the College.
