EVENING PROGRAMS
TVP Extensions courses are designed to meet the needs and interests of adult students with developmental disabilities. We have 4 course offerings this Spring 2012 − see below for course descriptions. To Register, please call Karen (403-342-3114) or Fran (403-343-4026) to confirm space in the course and have your name placed on our list. We will send you a Registration Form and you can bring it into our office with payment prior to the course start date. (Room 1808 or 1809) This is important as we want to make sure your contact information is up-to-date! BE A BETTER READER ETVP 9001
This ongoing Literacy Program is designed for individuals wanting to improve their levels of Reading skill and comprehension. Students work in small learning groups, at their own pace, with each person concentrating on their own individualized program and interests.
SPRING SESSION (8 Weeks):
Tuesdays: 6:15 − 8:15 p.m.
April 17- June 5, 2012

MATH AND MONEY SKILLS ETVP 9002
This ongoing course focuses on practical day-to-day use of Math and Money skills. Students will work to improve and utilize such skills as number recognition, math calculations, shopping math, counting money, making change, and budgeting. The program is individualized for each student based on his/her learning needs.

SMART BODIES FITNESS ETVP 9019
Continuing into the Spring term, our Smart Bodies Fitness class will help get you ready for an active summer! If you want to keep yourself "fit" and have fun while building up your strength and endurance, why don't you consider joining us? Smart Bodies Fitness will provide an overall top to bottom cardio, strength and conditioning workout with an emphasis on fun and safety. We will use balls, exercise bands and a variety of activities throughout. With some nice Spring weather, we hope to even get outside for a couple of sessions! Individual ability levels and needs will be considered during the classes. Bring your energy, motivation and smile because exercise has never been this much fun!
