Head Coach - Trevor Keeper

Trevor Keeper brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new position as Head Coach of Queens Hockey.  He has a Master of Science degree in Sports Coaching from the University
of Queensland with a specialization in the area of sports psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge.  Trevor has taught and coached in various locales in Canada and abroad, including the last three years as a sessional instructor in RDC's Kinesiology & Sport  Studies department.

Assistant Coach - Brandin Cote

Playing Experience:
• Member of the Bentley Generals Senior AAA Hockey Team (2010/ 2011)
• 8 years of professional playing experience (2002-2009) (NHL, AHL, ECHL, Germany, Italy, UK)
• Signed three- year, NHL contract: Chicago Blackhawks (2002).
• Member of the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club (WHL) (1997-2002).
• Named as one of the Top 25 Spokane Chiefs of all time.
• Hold Spokane Chiefs franchise record for games played (352), 11th all-time in goals (101), 8th in all-time assists (153), and 9th in all-time points (254). 
• Team Captain: Spokane Chiefs (2000 to 2002); Asst. Captain   (1998 to 2000).
• Two time WHL All Star: Captain (2001), Asst. Captain (2002).  
• CHL and WHL Humanitarian Player of the Year (2002).      
• Team Canada: 1998 World Under-18 Gold Medallist.
• Team Captain: Team Saskatchewan: 1997 World Under-17 Gold Medallist.

Goaltending Coach - Andy Nowicki

• Andy Nowicki returns to RDC as Goaltending Coach after spending nine years with the RDC Kings in the 90's, winning an ACAC Championship in 1993/94.
• His Goaltending coach experience includes 5 years with the NHL's  LA Kings (2001 to 2006) guiding the Kings goaltenders to their lowest GA in 35 years in 2001/2002
• 15 years in the Western Hockey league, and a Memorial Cup with Red Deer Rebels in 2001
• Coached with the National Women’s Team, American Hockey League, Norwegian Ice Hockey Federation, British Hockey Federation, and Hockey Canada Advanced Camps.
• In the women’s game, Andy has coached National Team goalies Shannon Szabados, Kim St. Pierre, and Charlene LaBonte
• Coaching experience includes work with current NHL players... Cam Ward (Carolina), James Reimer (Toronto), Mathieu Garon (Predators),  Chris Mason (Winni peg), and Jason Labarbara (Phoenix)
• In 2010/11 Andy consulted to Allan Cup finalist Bentley Generals AAA Sr. and Bakersfield Condors ECHL.
• In addition to his goaltending instruction Andy is owner /instructor of a specialized leadership development program "Andy Nowicki Leadership Course"

Assistant Coach - Laura Salomons

• Laura is a former RDC Queen and U of A Panda player.
• Assistant Coach with RDC Queens (2010-2011)

Goaltending Coach - John Engelhardt

• John is a former goaltender from Sylvan Lake Minor Hockey. He has also spent time playing junior hockey in Blackfalds, Rimbey and Red Deer of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League.
• John holds Sport Management Diploma from Red Deer College and has spent time with Hockey Alberta working with various skill development and high performance camps.
