Rookie of the Year – Jeff Cazes

Jeff became a huge part of the team taking on some of the best players in the province in singles all season. He continued to improve in doubles throughout the year and will no doubt become an even bigger part of the team next season as a 2nd year veteran.

 

Most Improved Player – Chelsea Colton

Chelsea is a hard worker and has never complained about anything in her life. A terrific work ethic in practice paid dividends as Chelsea became a big part of the team down the stretch and into the playoffs.

 

Coaches Award – Conrad Duckett

Conrad is the definition of hard work. He is an extremely motivated athlete and led by example every practice. Conrad is a great leader on and off the court and is the type of players coaches love to coach.

 

Most Valuable Player – Paige Currah
Paige had a fantastic year in her 2nd season with RDC Badminton. A player with tremendous competitive spirit. Paige managed to win a bronze medal in women’s doubles and played exceptionally well at Nationals. Paige was relied upon all season to win big matches and came through in the clutch numerous times.
