| Rookie of the Year – Samantha Martin |
|
When Samantha came to the Queens she had one year of ACAC Soccer experience having played for the Grande Prairie Wolves. She is a dedicated player who shows up for practices and games prepared to give it 100%, and she expects the same from the players around her. Her physical play gained the respect of her opponents and combined with her finesse skills she garnered a selection to the south division all-star team as the outside midfield position. Well done Samantha.

| Most Improved Player – Kassie Pritchard |
|
Kassie has an infectious personality. During practices and games she is perpetually upbeat and consistently motivates her teammates with her positive talk. This season she switched positions from outside midfield to striker and doubled her goal output to tie for the scoring lead on the team. Congratulations Kass!

| Coaches Award – Stephanie Tremblay |
|
Stephanie is a coach’s dream, in that she can play a number of different positions on the field and do the required task without missing a step. Last year she was the top striker on the Queens by notching 7 goals, which also ranked her 2nd in the south division. This past season she moved to the defensive end of the field and filled that role effectively, yet she still found time to score 4 goals. She is a very coachable player who is able to adjust her role as the game progresses. Keep up the good work STEPH.

| Most Valuable Player – Sam Vockeroth |
| Sami has been with Queens Soccer for 5 seasons. This season, like the others, she has not only been one of the top players on the team but in the entire league. Her defensive play out of the sweeper position has gained her the respect of every opposing striker she has ever encountered. During the very last game of the regular season she sustained an injury that would have kept most players off the field for the playoffs. However with her never-say-die attitude and some excellent physio by Sarah Dupuis she was on the field at the start of the game. This is the 2nd year in a row that she has won the MVP award. She was also named to the south division all-star team and was this years ACAC Representative at Nationals as a CCAA All-Star. Well done Sami – we’re gonna miss you!!!! |
