Enabling Student Success

An important goal of RDC is to increase access to post-secondary learning and to encourage and reward excellence. That’s why we created the Access & Excellence initiative.

While our facilities and programs grow, we stay focused on the students who are the centre of our College – and our community’s future.

Here is what Access & Excellence (A&E) means for you and your community:

Access: bursaries reduce financial barriers to attend the College
Excellence: scholarships attract students who then stay in central Alberta
Access & Excellence: opportunities help students achieve their full potential

Increased support for students

Growth and development requires new capital investments for facilities and equipment as well as new academic program investments for planning, program development and research.

A&E will increase the value of our awards, scholarships, bursaries and endowments available to our learners – more than $6 million has been raised towards student support since 2006.

Changing lives

Our students need to be able to afford their education and training. For this reason, we want to continue offering and growing competitive scholarships, bursaries and awards to attract, retain and reward the very best students to RDC and our region.
