Your College is committed to sustainable development. The RDC Green Campus Task Group was established to inform and educate the College community about the importance of energy and water conservation and related environmental issues.
Green Campus initiatives will establish targets and implement protocols for:
- reduction, recycling and re-use of materials
- energy efficiency and conservation
- minimized water consumption
- alternative transportation options

Leading with LEED
LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - is a national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.
Building Communities Through Learning is demonstrating environmental leadership by meeting the criteria to achieve LEED silver, and even near-gold certification. The benefits include economical operating costs and minimal environmental impact.
