Linking Centres

Creating new opportunities for collaboration
Central Alberta students and businesses will gain access to a creative and productive space – full of possibilities! Here, ideas and inspiration will have innovative outcomes.

Building Communities Through Learning introduces the new Four Centres to RDC and central Alberta:

  • Centre for Trades & Technology
  • Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing
  • J.B. Quinn Centre for Corporate Training
  • Centre for Visual Art

Co-locating these centres with a shared infrastructure is cost-effective for construction and operation as well as encourages collaboration and innovation.

Teamwork, entrepreneurship and creativity
Adding over 18,000 square metres – almost 200,000 square feet – of trades and apprenticeship, visual art, manufacturing technology and corporate training facilities is a major step forward to address the demand from central Alberta’s businesses and industry. By pooling resources and developing partnerships between the new facilities, the students and the community, Building Communities Through Learning is taking innovation and entrepreneurship to new levels.
