The Concert Band has always been an important part of our musical heritage. Join the Symphonic Winds while they perform transcriptions, overtures, marches and more by Sousa, Goldman, Fillmore and many other early composers who were the foundation for the Symphonic Bands of today.

Dale Wheeler Piano Recital - Themes & Variations
The works on this program share one common feature - they all incorporate the theme and variation form. Anchored by Beethoven’s Op. 26 “Funeral March” Sonata, other featured works include the haunting Grieg Ballade and the seductive Variations on a Theme of Chopin by the Spanish composer Federico Mompou.
