Alberta Pharmacy Technician Bridging Program

This program is designed to assist working pharmacy technicians meet the new requirements of the Alberta College of Pharmacists.

NOTE: While it is anticipated that these courses will require a minimum of 3 hours per week of on-line work, students will also be required to do readings, study and prepare assignments, so 10-12 hours / week of course work will be the norm. If this is your first on-line course in a Blackboard environment, you will also require time to familiarize yourself with the layout, structure and design of the course.

  • Product Preparation Plar Challenge - submission of the “Competency of Extemporaneous Compounding & Sterile Product Preparation” must be completed and submitted via fax – 403.342.3278 prior to registering for and writing this challenge exam.
