Welder/Millwrighting Certificate

This unique 32 week program running from October 11, 2011 – June 8, 2012 will develop your knowledge and skills in two related trades.  The course will begin to explore the Blue Seal business certificate and provide enhancement of Basic Technical Mathematics.  You will receive assistance with employability skills and participate in a 2 week practicum.  With successful completion you will be prepared to challenge the first and second period Welding technical exam and the first period Millwright technical training exam.

The program will include:

• First period Welding technical training
• First period Millwright technical training
• Second period Welding technical training
• Basic Technical Mathematics, Fundamentals of Workplace Communication, and Blue Seal Eligible courses

PLEASE NOTE:
Each class is limited to the first 24 students.  All other applicants will be placed on a waiting list and notified if an opening becomes available.

**Course fees are due one month prior to class start date
**There are no refunds issued from 30 days prior to the class start date, unless the Continuing Education Division cancels the course
