P.A.R.E. Testing Point

Physical Ability Readiness Evaluation Testing

RDC hosts the P.A.R.E. test throughout the year. This test is for individuals who are applying to the RCMP or other police forces, or who are already members. You must pre register for this appraisal. Spaces are available for each date on a first come, first serve basis. For more information about the P.A.R.E. and preparing for the P.A.R.E. see the information links below. Please contact the Appraisal Services Coordinator at the Kevin Sirois Fitness Resource Centre at 403.357.3612 for more information.

Doctors do not provide medical clearance forms, they are always supplied by the employer, PARE being no different. The course description does suggest you get the appropriate forms from your employer, however, you can get your PARE Medical clearance form from the RCMP website or the Solicitor General’s website.

You MUST have a PARE Medical form signed because it describes the test and lets the doctor know what kind of physical activity you will be subjected.  Medical forms must be dated, signed by the physician and have the clinic stamp (as they are only valid for 6 months).
