Aaron Schula Head Coach - Kings Volleyball

As one of RDC's newest members of the coaching staff, Aaron led the Kings to the ACAC bronze medal in 2008. Aaron's career highlights are numerous as both a coach and player. He was Assistant coach with the Canadian National B team and World University Games Team. He was also Assistant Coach of the UofA Golden Bear Volleyball team in 2006/07 where they were CIS silver medalists. As a player, he was member and team captain of Team Canada FISU Games team, UofA Golden Bears (2 years), Canada West and CIS National Champions. He also spent some time playing professional volleyball in Middlefart, Denmark.

 

Craig Behan Head Coach - Kings Basketball

Craig has been head coach of RDC Kings Basketball since 2002. In that time he has taken his team to ACAC playoffs seven straight years and made 4 final four appearances. Craig was also named ACAC Coach of the year three times (2003/04, 2004/05 and 2007/08) and has achieved National Coaching Institute Level IV, NCCP Theory I-IV as well as NCCP Basketball Technical and Practical Levels I-IV. In 2008 Craig was the head coach for the Alberta Basketball U17 Juvenile Boys Head Coach. International experience includes assistant coach for the Bermuda Men's National Team with a silver medal victory at the International Small Island Games.

 

Rob Weddell Head Coach - Queens Hockey

Rob Weddell is the Head Coach for the RDC Queens Hockey program and an instructor at Red Deer College specializing in Physical Literacy and Movement Studies. He is a past recipient of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Coaching Award and has more than 13 years of coaching experience, 7 of them with college athletes and 8 years with RDC summer hockey camps.

 

 

Talbot Walton Head Coach - Queens Volleyball

Talbot has helped lead the RDC Queens for the past nine years. In that time they have multiple provincial championship medals and two Canadian Championship medals. Coaching highlights include multiple Alberta Coach of the Year awards and on Canadian Coach of the Year, Club National Champions, College National Champions and University National Champions. Talbot has coached at the post-secondary level as well as with Team Alberta, University, club volleyball, FIVB Beach volleyball and numerous camps and clinics. He enjoys the tactical and technical aspects of the game and is continually striving to help athletes perform at a higher level.
