Nota Bene Youth Choir
RDC is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for young singers in Central Alberta. The Nota Bene Youth Choir is an auditioned ensemble open to students in grades 6 through 10.
This ensemble has a long history in Red Deer. It was founded in 1991 and originally called the Red Deer Inter-School Youth Choir. Nota Bene has been awarded many honours over the past decade including provincial festival recommendations, requests to record, and invitations to tour and clinic with other youth ensembles across the province. Previous members have come from Red Deer and many other communities in Central Alberta.
Soliloquy
RDC is proud to present Soliloquy, an exciting and vibrant vocal ensemble geared to serving those musicians with a passion for choral music.
This auditioned group of singers, 15 years of age and over, will study vocal music of various periods and styles. Emphasis will be placed on vocal technique and performance, striving for a high level of musical artistry and integrity.
