Series: Summer Art & Fine Craft Workshops

Our Series 2012 Summer Art & Fine Craft Workshops are designed to renew, reconnect and re-grow. From professional artists to art enthusiasts and hobbyists, we have a workshop for everyone.
Express yourself with the fine art & craft of glass blowing, ceramics, sculpting with different types of media, bronze and body casting as well as learning how to cast and make molds. We also teach the traditional arts of drawing, calligraphy, painting and modern art such as creating with textiles, making jewellery, welding sculptures, photography, and hand-crafting books.
Our daily workshops are Monday to Friday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) followed by a mix and mingle after each class.
Back by popular demand is our daily Open Model Session student shows as well as our Monday night Instructor Presentations where our fabulous and talented teachers showcase their art & craft.
And don’t miss seeing the exciting exhibitions at the Red Deer and District Museum or our weekly showing of RDC’s own filmmaker Larry Reese’s thought-provoking documentary “Mapping Creativity”.
Scholarships are available for Series 2012. For full details and to apply visit Awards and Scholarships.
