Brenda Danbrook

Throughout the past 18 years, ceramic artist Brenda Danbrook from Opal, Alberta, Canada has exhibited, instructed, and operated a production pottery studio.

Born in Drumheller, Alberta, Canadian Ceramic Artist Brenda Danbrook pursued her education in Visual Art as a means of expanding and deepening her existing artistic practice in clay.  As part of her undergraduate studies in fine arts she has studied at Red Deer College, the Australian National University and in Jingdezhen, China.

 In 2009, Brenda received her Diploma of Art with High Distinction from ANU, and was awarded an Artist in Residency at Strathnairn Art Association, Canberra, ACT.  In 2011, Brenda graduated from Red Deer College where she made Deans honours list consecutively; all while maintaining her production pottery studio.  In addition, Brenda Continues to Instruct weekend workshops at Red Deer College, Continued Education.  Presently, Brenda is attending Alberta College of Art and Design to complete a Bachelor in Fine Art. 

Currently, Brenda’s  work is punctuated by the concept of inseparable relationships exhibited as a collective voice.  It is this conversation which excites her.
