An artist in many mediums, Jessica Hughes began lampworking in 2006. What started as an exploration into a new medium turned into a full-time obsession. She now works as a lampworker creating unique pieces of art in miniature under the name Jessica Jane. Her work is carried in numerous retail outlets, has been shown in a variety of galleries throughout Alberta and has been sold worldwide. Jessica strives to create new techniques and styles to keep her work fresh and interesting. Much of her inspiration comes from living in rural Alberta and her travels to other countries.
