Laura Donefer

For 30 years Laura Donefer has used glass as her primary medium, exhibiting her award winning work in North America, Japan, and Australia.  The recipient of Glass Art Association of Canada’s first “LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD”  in recognition of her tireless efforts for the advancement of art glass in Canada, she has also been honoured as a teacher. Laura has been involved with Espace Verre in for over 20 years, and has taught regularly at Pilchuck, Corning, Penland and Red Deer. Her pieces can be seen in many museums, including The Montreal Museum of Fine Art, Corning Museum of Glass and The Museum of Art and Design in New York City. But this crazy diva of glass is really known for her wacky Glass Fashion Shows, and has organized ten of them. No party is the same without her!
