Robert Sinclair

Robert Sinclair was born in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan in 1939. He is a practicing Canadian professional artist who has exhibited regularly in Canada since 1972. His paintings are understated, suggesting rather than telling the whole story. They invite participation on the part of the observer to complete the idea and become part of the painting. His work has been featured in more than 68 solo and numerous group exhibitions at public galleries, university and commercial galleries. He is represented in many corporate and public collections across Canada, America, Europe and Japan. Robert is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.
