Sallie Portnoy

Portnoy studied ceramics at University of Manitoba Winnipeg, NSCAD Halifax, & graduated from COFA in Sydney Australia. She now works mainly in cast glass lead crystal creating figurative sculpture. Prolific and diverse, she is known to work in clay, bronze, cement, polystyrene, glass mosaic, and stainless steel. She has been in numerous group and solo exhibitions and been the recipient of numerous awards. She is represented in many private and permanent collections and has taught glass in Canada, Australia, Turkey Corning Museum of glass and Urban Glass NY.
