RDC is a vibrant campus - we have lots going on and we welcome you here for whatever activity may bring you!
Hourly Parking
On weekdays, hourly parking is available in Lot P West (north of the Arts Centre - tall red brick building) and Lot P East (north of Four Centres - east end of campus, silver metal building).
From 8:00 am to 4:00 pm the cost is $2.00 per hour to a maximum of $8.00 per day. CASH or CREDIT CARD is accepted for payment at "Pay and Display" kiosks.
Paid Parking is available evenings (4:00pm to 10:00pm) and weekends (8:00am to 10:00pm), in Lots P East and West and in Lot C (north of the Library). The cost is $1.00 per hour to a maximum of $4.00.
Please note that Lot C is designated as a student parking lot from 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekdays. RDC continues to provide a number of free public parking options in unreserved parking lots after 4:00pm weekdays, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Staff and faculty parking lots are reserved 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (signs identifying these lots are posted). Parking is not allowed in the Bethany Collegeside parking lot.
These parking regulations and rates are in effect from September 1 through June 30. Parking is free in all public and unreserved parking lots on campus during July and August.
Metered Parking
Staying for just a short time? Feel free to use parking meters conveniently located in front of the main entrance, north of our Library, and west of the Arts Centre. Time limits are posted. The cost is $2 per hour. Parking rates are enforced in these parking stalls from 8:00am – 10:00pm.
Parking Regulations
Parking regulations are enforced daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Failure to comply with the parking regulations could result in your vehicle being ticketed and/or towed.
- All vehicles must hang their assigned Parking Hanger from their rear view mirror so that it is clearly visible to policing personnel, or display your ticket vending machine receipt face up on your dash.
- The Parking Hanger is colour coded and is assigned a permit number which begins with the parking lot letter. All lots will have colour coded signage posted at their entrance. The following lot colour codes are effective Sep 2009 to Jun2010.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL SITE SPEED LIMITS - RCMP PHOTO RADAR ENFORCED
LOST OR STOLEN PARKING CARDS OR HANGERS MUST BE REPORTED TO CAMPUS SECURITY (a replacement fee will be charged).
No person is permitted to remain in a vehicle parked overnight on campus.

Fall and Winter Term Student Parking Fees
Student parking fees range from $175.00 to $200.00 depending on your choice of lots. This fee allows students to park during the fall, winter and spring terms from September 1 through to June 30. There is no charge for parking in the unreserved lots C-D-M-N-R-Q during the summer months (July 1 to August 31).
You may reserve a parking spot by submitting the completed application form along with the appropriate fee to the Cashiers Office. Payment must be received before the application will be processed. Student Parking Refund Policy
Only students who have formally dropped or withdrawn from RDC will be eligible to apply for a parking refund. The parking hanger/card must be returned to the Cashiers Office in good condition upon completion of the refund request form.

Apprentice Student Parking
Reserved Apprentice Student Parking
You may reserve a parking spot by submitting the completed Apprentice application form along with the appropriate fee to the Cashiers Office. NOTE: All apprentice fees must be paid in full before the application will be processed. Parking is assigned on a first come, first served basis. Lot A-Purple (paved), Lot B-Red (gravel), Lot T-Orange (gravel) and Lot U-Brown (gravel) have been designated as Apprentice student lots. To view the parking locations, click here.
Apprentice Student Parking Fees
Apprentice student non refundable parking fee rate for Lot A is $13.00 per week, Lot B, U, and T are $11.00 per week. Payment is required to park in these lots during the day from Sept 1 through June 30. Parking is free in these lots during July and August.
Parking for Persons with Disabilities
Parking stalls for people with disabilities are located in various lots on campus. Stalls are within close proximity to entrances, and are identified with signage. These stalls are located throughout the campus to allow for ease of access to all College facilities.
For individuals with disabilities visiting our campus and parking in public parking lots, a valid handicapped parking permit must be hung from your rear view mirror hanger so that it is clearly visible to policing personnel.
Students, faculty and staff with disabilities who require parking on a longer-term basis can request accommodation either through the Disability Services office (for students) or the Cashier’s office (for staff/faculty).
