Academic Advising can help you make informed decisions about your educational goals. You can get information about entering your program, planning your courses and graduating successfully.

The Counselling and Career Centre is available free of charge for confidential counselling to help you manage stress or other mental health issues. You can also talk about careers, or develop your resume.

The Health, Safety and Wellness Centre provides health care; health, safety and wellness information and education; health counselling and referrals; emergency and first aid; full clinic services.

Learning Support Services offers learning skills assistance, peer and professional tutoring services, and workshops. Assistance can be given in the form of one-on-one appointments and small group sessions. All services are free to all Red Deer College students. 

The Learn 2 Learn site has information about learning skills. Log on to Blackboard, choose Learn to Learn, then Learning Resources.

Library Information Commons (Library) provides library and audio-visual services. A number of computers have adaptive technology installed, specifically Zoomtext, (a magnifying program with voice output), TextHelp Read and Write (a program that has speech output, audio spellchecker and word predication features, and Open Book Unbound.  Please feel free to ask the staff for assistance.

The Students' Association provides cultural activities, jobs for students, services for students, and many volunteer opportunities.

The Student Funding and Awards office assists you in making informed decisions about funding your education, including information about student loans, grants, awards, scholarships, and bursaries. In addition, the Student Funding and Awards office provides a number of additional financial or support services to students, such as: emergency funding, food vouchers, bus passes, food bank referrals, book deferrals, tuition deferrals, and budgeting information.
