     $1,000 Red Deer College Building On Excellence Academic Award

• Who said there’s no such thing as free money?! If you’re a high school student with an average of 85% or better in five of the most recently completed, Grade 11 or Grade 12 subjects (excluding optional subjects), you could get one of the 50, $1,000 awards towards your tuition. It’s easy to apply – simply submit an unofficial statement of grades from your high school ( signed and sealed) to the Student Funding & Awards Office at RDC, Box 5005, Red Deer, AB, T4N 5H5. This scholarship is awarded to the first 50 eligible students who submit a transcript after October 3, 2011.....so apply early!

• The Online Awards Application is now available! Select Enter Awards Application for instructions. The deadline to submit the application is May 31, 2012. 

• The Online Awards Application for Athletic Scholarships is no longer available for the 2011/2012 academic year. Recipients will be awarded at the Athletic Awards Night in April 2012.

• The Online Awards Application is no longer available for the 2011/2012 academic year. Recipients will be notified through their Loop account, under Personal Announcements, between June and September. Be sure to watch your Loop account over the summer! 

     Student Awards with Leadership Criteria

•  The application for the Canadian Western Bank Continuing Education Scholarship in Honor of Jack Donald,the Conservatory of Music - Rick Nigg Memorial Scholarship, and the Wiltzen Family Professional Bookkeeping Scholarship will be available in June of 2012.

• The application for the Access & Excellence Continuing Education Scholarship, the Access & Excellence RDC Alumnus Scholarship, and the Continuing Education Lifelong Learning Scholarship will be available in August of 2012.

• The application for the Series-Summer School of the Arts Scholarship and the Series-Summer School of the Arts Scholarships for Emerging Artists will be available in February 2013.
