Student Ambassador Program

Our Student Ambassador program fosters leadership, community mindedness and volunteerism among RDC students.

Student Ambassadors work closely with Student Life and play a key role in various campus activities including: New Student Orientation, Open House, RDC Committees, and much more!

How It Works
Progress through 3 stages of the program, in which there's increased skill development and level of responsibility. 

        Be a VOLUNTEER
        - Core Training Level I
        - 10 volunteer hours
        - 1 skill development session
        - 1 specialized training session

        Be a LEADER
        - Core Training Level II
        - 2 skill development sessions
        - 2 specialized training sessions
        - 5 volunteer hours
        - 10 leadership hours

        Be an AMBASSADOR
        - Core Training Level III
        - 2 skill development sessions
        - 2 specialized training sessions
        - 15 leadership hours
        - 10 ambassador hours

The Rewards
Beyond developing a wide range of professional skills, such as team leadership, marketing, communications and event management, you’ll also be eligible for:

  • Leadership Training and Professional Development Seminars
  • A Student Ambassador shirt and other swag
  • Networking opportunities
  • A Certificate of Service and reference letter outlining your contributions
  • Two $750 scholarships (as a full-time student)
  • A $500 scholarship (as a part-time student)
