FAQ

Do I need to sign up to attend?
YES. Our online registration allows you to customize your day, and of course, let's us know that you're coming! We'll let you know when it's time to sign up.

Where can I park?
FREE parking is available in all unreserved lots on New Student Orientation Day. Lot C is probably the most convenient. Check out this parking map or watch for signage directing you where to go.

Remember, you will need a parking pass once classes start though. Stalls are assigned on a first come, first served basis – so don’t wait to get yours! Go to Parking at RDC for more information and to apply.

What should I bring?
Don't forget to print and bring your day schedule – it will be emailed to you once you register. You may also want your class locations (so you can find them on the campus tour), a pen to jot down a few notes or reminders, and photo I.D. so you can get your iCard.

Should I do anything BEFORE Orientation Day?
If line ups aren’t your thing, there are a number of tasks you can take care of before your classes start.

    • Apply for parking
Review your parking options, apply and pay at the Cashiers Office.

Have classes at our Donald School of Business downtown campus?
Check out your transportation options (they're a little different).

    • Pick up your iCard (student ID)
Bring photo I.D. to the Cashiers Office and smile for a picture. Easy as that!

    • Reserve a locker
Visit the Students' Association office and get one close to your classes.

    • Pay your tuition fees
Take care of this vital "to-do" in a variety of ways.

*If you are waiting for your Student Loan to be processed, you can request a deferral of your tuition fees. Contact Student Funding and Awards for more information (t: 403.342.3254 | e: financialaid@rdc.ab.ca).
