Transit and Parking Rates -- 2011/12
RDC recently completed discussions with the City of Red Deer about a transit rate for students attending the Donald School of Business downtown. The rate of $27.50 per month will benefit students who choose this method of transportation.
We recognize that you may be unable to use transit as your sole means of transportation to RDC’s main and downtown campuses. The table below demonstrates some additional options and costs.

Where do I buy 1/2 price City of Red Deer Transit Passes?
1/2 Price City of Red Deer Transit Passes can be purchased by presenting your DSB iCard at the following locations:
- Main Campus - Student Association Office (Room 2010), by cash, debit or credit card
- Downtown Campus - Information Desk (3rd Floor), by debit or credit card

Incentive dependent on proof of purchase of monthly downtown parking.

To access the least expensive costs, students can access the half-price bus pass for travel downtown: $27.50 per month

Alternative Transportation Options -- you can ride your bike!
For those folks interested to ride their bike to work, RDC has arranged for use of a bike rack located on site. Space is limited, and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
We have also spoken to the City and they have indicated that if there is demand, the City will consider the placement of bike racks/lockers at the Sorensen station to support student needs.

Additional Information for Parking Downtown:
Downtown Parking Options: The City of Red Deer provides information about Downtown Paid Parking on their website. In addition, monthly parking is available at the Millennium Centre and at other downtown locations.
Evenings and Weekends: Parking is available in the public surface lot (north of Millennium Centre) and the adjacent Sorensen Station parkade after 5:00pm and on weekends for no charge. Parking is available on the ground level of the Millennium Centre parkade after 6:00 pm and on weekends for no charge.
