Life at RDC

Apprenticeships, Trades & Industrial Training

With an apprenticeship, you get practical, on-the-job training while you earn a wage. How great is that?
We offer technical training in 15 different high-demand trades and our apprenticeship programs ranked highest in Alberta in a recent survey.

For more information about trades training offered at RDC, please visit Programs & Courses.

There’s two ways to get an apprenticeship:

  1. Find an employer who will hire you as an apprentice, provide you with paid on-the-job training and allow you to go to school for a number of weeks each year.
    OR
  2. Attend a Pre-Employment or Certificate program at RDC first, and then find an employer who will hire you as an apprentice.
