The early years in a child's development are extremely important. Changing roles in society have increased the demand for a wide variety of services for preschool and school-aged children and for highly skilled and trained personnel. A one-year Certificate or a two-year Diploma can help prepare you for a rewarding career. You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a child care professional in a variety of care and educational settings with preschoolers and young children.
There is a focus on interacting effectively with families of preschoolers in group care, home support, and early intervention programs. We offer alternate delivery courses, which may involve a combination home study, Saturday seminars, teleconferencing or Internet delivery.
