Increasing class sizes and the inclusion of students with special needs into regular classrooms have resulted in greater job opportunities for Educational Assistants. Educational Assistants can also be found in libraries and other support services in the education system.
Educational Assistant students develop a broad range of skills that include interpersonal relations, classroom management and discipline techniques. The practicum gives students a chance to apply what they have learned.
