Volunteer Student Leaders Wanted!

Position Purpose

Orientation Student Leaders are students who welcome new RDC students to Orientation. Each Orientation Student Leader is required to work September 8th, 2009.  

Qualifications

Orientation Student Leaders must be returning students to RDC and complete an Orientation Leader Application (Application form will be e-mailed to you once you connect with us through e-mail or phone).

Responsibilities

• Attend a training session.
• Agree to attend Orientation scheduled for September 8th, 2009.
• Agree to interact and offer motivation and shared knowledge of RDC with new students.
• Assist with College Tours and awareness of services for student success.
• Provide a welcoming and positive presence to all new students, families, and visitors.
• Work with Orientation Committee, faculty, and staff to ensure that programs are successful.
• Orientation Student Leaders are here to lead and encourage students to RDC opportunities, events, and activities introduced through Orientation.

Compensation

All Student Leaders will be compensated for participation in Orientation. Student Leaders will receive meals during training and during Orientation day. Letters of reference from RDC for volunteering and creating a positive experience for new students on campus! You are also eligible to win cool prizes!
