Peer Tutoring
Students who have done well in their courses and completed our training program are standing by to help you through any tough patches in your courses. They are paid by the college, but the service is free to you.
Fill out a Peer Tutor Request Form and leave it in one of the drop boxes in the library (at the Information Desk) or at the service desk in the Cenovus Energy Learning Common. Your request will be picked up the following morning and staff will get back to you to arrange peer tutoring.
* Please note that peer tutors may not be available for every course, but we will do our best to match you up with someone as quickly as possible.
Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)
Peer Assisted Study Sessions are held for courses that have been difficult for many students. The sessions are led by PASS Leaders, students who have already done well in the course. The PASS Leaders re-attend classes then hold study sessions that focus on the important concepts. Research has shown that these types of sessions can help you improve your grades.
