Entrance Awards
Still available: $1,000 RDC Building On Excellence Academic Award
- Students coming directly from high school with an average of 85% or better in five (five credit) Grade 11 or Grade 12 separate subjects (excluding optional subjects).No award application necessary.Submit unofficial transcripts, signed and sealed, by your high school to the RDC Student Funding & Awards Office at RDC, Box 5005, Red Deer, AB T4N 5H5.
- The deadline for applying for other Entrance awards has passed. Notification of award winners will occur in June for the majority of the awards. A letter will be sent to the selected recipient. We have several that are not given out until September.
Apprenticeship Awards
The deadline for Apprenticship Awards for the 2009/2010 apprenticeship year has passed. Notification of successful applicants will occur in late August through your loop account.
Athletic Awards
The deadline has passed for Athletic Scholarships at RDC.
Bursaries
Northlands Bursary application not available until Fall 2010.

Continuing Awards
The deadline for Continuing Awards has passed. Please check your loop account under personal announcements to see if you have been selected for a scholarship.
Only recipients chosen will be notified in the summer regarding these scholarships.
Continuing Education Awards
The deadline has passed for the Series Summer School of the Arts Scholarships. Only recipients chosen for the scholarships will be notified.
Watch for the Continuing Education Scholarship application (available August 2010) for courses you are looking at taking through Continuing Education in the upcoming Fall term.
External Awards
There are also various "External Awards" not administered by RDC that you may access to help cover your education costs. These awards require separate application forms and deadlines vary. Check out the Internet addresses listed below. Check the library. Check our bulletin board in the Forum. Sometimes a scholarship search is like looking for a hidden treasure. Have fun and good luck.
