What to expect?

Orientation includes College-wide and program-specific information. We offer an enthusiastic and interactive welcome and introduction to campus life at RDC. Student Leaders will take you on an optional tour of campus.

RDC and the Students' Association Team of representatives will welcome you and present information and student activities for you to consider. You'll meet second year students, staff, and faculty while experiencing orientation! In addition, by attending and filling out our survey, you will have a chance to win an iPod and iTunes card!

Getting Involved

An exciting look at some of the many possibilities available to you as a student at RDC. Whether you want to participate in International club, swim and sauna intramural program, drop in volleyball or be involved in Student Council there will be something for you.

Campus Tour

There will be an optional tour of RDC led by Student Leaders after the Orientation program.    You will see campus hot spots and hear their personal campus experiences. This is also your chance to find your classroom locations before classes begin.

What time does Orientation start?  

Orientation starts at 1:00 p.m.

Where can I park?   

Free parking is available in all lots on New Student Orientation Day, you do not have to pay for parking.   Signage at all entrances to campus will direct you to the on-campus parking lots.  Visit parking at RDC for more information.   If you are being dropped off by private vehicle or bus at the main entrance of RDC there will be black arrows directing you which way to go.

Where do I meet for Orientation?  

Meet at the Margaret Parsons Theatre. Look out for signs when you arrive.

What should I bring?  

You will need to bring your class locations - you can look these up - if you decide to go on the optional campus tour.

Where and When can I get my student card?  

You can get your iCard from the cashiers office anytime after you are accepted as a RDC Student.
