What's my Library Barcode and PIN?
Your Library Barcode and (NEOS) PIN are used to:
- request materials from other NEOS libraries through our library catalogue
- request articles or non-NEOS books through interlibrary loan, or check the status of your requests
- access article databases and e-resources off-campus
- login to NEOS My Account

What is my Library Barcode Number?
The 13-digit number directly above the barcode on your iCard.
What is my (NEOS) PIN?
Your PIN is a randomly assigned 4-digit number; there are several ways to get your PIN:
- visit us in person during Library Hours (have your iCard handy)
- phone the Information Desk at (403) 342-3152 or the Circulation Desk at (403) 342-3344 (have your iCard handy)
- get your PIN sent to your RDC e-mail* (enter your RDC e-mail address and 13-digit Library barcode number into the form; the form is a University of Alberta form, but it will work because RDC Library and U of A Libraries are both members of the same NEOS library system)
What if I forget my PIN?
If you have forgotten your PIN, you can retreive it using any of the methods listed above.
How do I change my PIN?
You can change your PIN in NEOS My Account. PINs may be up to 10-digits long (letters and/or numbers).
* You can access RDC e-mail through TheLoop. If you need help, please contact the Information Desk at (403) 342-3152.
