Wireless Hotspots
The Library is a Wireless Hotspot. If you have a personal laptop equipped with a wireless (WiFi) card, your laptop may detect a library wireless network. Some laptops may not work with the wireless; there are many reasons as to why a laptop may or may not connect to the wireless network.
See the Wireless Hotspot FAQ for other College Wireless Hotspots and additional connection information.
If your laptop detects a Library wireless network, open up your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). You will be taken to a login screen asking you to download and install a Clean Access Agent. Once it is installed, you will be asked for your User Name and Password. This is the same User Name and Password you would use to login to the Campus network, in this format:
Username
first initial, last name
e.g. jsmith2
e.g.1163999999999
Password
same as to access Campus network
*if your password has expired or needs to be changed, you will first have to login to a desktop workstation to do so before accessing the wireless.
Library computer privileges are required to access Internet on the Wireless network. For more information about this service, please visit the Information Desk.
*You will NOT have access to your H:\ drive space, only the Internet
*NO access to printing
*Our wireless network does not support Bluetooth
