10 Sculptures in 10 Days

This artwork is from the Second Year Sculpture Class. They were challenged to make 10 different sculptures in a period of 10 days. At the end of the 10 days, seven pieces were selected by the class for display in the PortHole Gallery (with another five pieces in the 1500 hallway.)

At the end of Second Year Sculpture, the students’ work becomes independently driven as they start to explore their own ideas and interests.

To see more work, check out the year end show at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery from March 17 - April 11, 2010.
